# 5.5: Analysis

1. Draw the table to record your analysis values for the wood block.  Use a ratio to compare measured centimeters to inches, in each dimension, for the wood block; reduce fractions such that the smallest value is 1.

Example:

$\dfrac{540 \text{ inches}}{15 \text{ yards}} = \dfrac{36 \text{in}}{1 \text{yd}} \nonumber$

1. Draw the table to record your analysis values for the metal cylinder.  Use a ratio to compare measured centimeters to inches, in each dimension, for the metal cylinder; reduce fractions such that the smallest value is 1.
